A 27-year-old woman from Kenner, Louisiana, has been convicted of violating the Federal Controlled Substances Act, announced U.S. Attorney Duane A. Evans. Ebony Gray, 27, was sentenced to two years of probation on June 23, 2021 by the Honorable Sarah S. Vance.
According to court records, Gray was caught on federally authorized wire taps discussing the prices for various quantities of heroin, as well as potential customers. Gray and a co-defendant also discussed how much cut or adulterant the heroin could take.
The investigation into Gray’s activities was conducted by Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Assistant United States Attorney David Haller handled the prosecution.
