New Orleans Man Pleads Guilty to Felon in Possession of Firearm

Edward Davis, a 45-year-old resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, has pleaded guilty to a federal weapons violation.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Davis possessed two firearms on January 11, 2022, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Sections 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(2).

The indictment charges Davis with being a felon in possession of a firearm, a crime that carries a maximum sentence of 10 years of imprisonment, a fine of up to $250,000, a period of up to 3 years supervised release, and a mandatory special assessment fee of $100.00.
