A Miami man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for his role in a major narcotics distribution operation.
Efrain Betancourt Jr., 43, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Robert N. Scola Jr. in the Southern District of Florida.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida, led by U.S. Attorney D. Michael Schatzow, prosecuted the case.
Betancourt Jr. was represented by attorneys Richard Lawrence Cooper, Roger Cruz, Samuel Joseph Rabin Jr., Dustin M Tischler, and Gabrielle Raemy Charest-Turken.
The case number is 1:24-cr-20399 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
