GRIMY TIMES EXCLUSIVE: Eladio Arguelles, 26, of El Paso, Texas, has been indicted on federal charges for possession with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine. The indictment stems from an investigation by the Savanna Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration, and if convicted, Arguelles faces a minimum sentence of ten years imprisonment and/or a fine of up to $10 million.
The grand jury’s indictment does not constitute evidence of guilt; it is merely a method of bringing formal charges against the defendant.
