Fort Sill Soldier Rapes Fellow Serviceman, Faces Up to Life in Prison

A former serviceman stationed at Fort Sill Military Installation in Oklahoma has pleaded guilty to a heinous crime.

Jessie Solomon Dunnaway, 23, of Georgia, admitted to sexually abusing another person without their consent on November 3, 2019. Dunnaway, a former serviceman, was stationed at Fort Sill at the time of the crime.

On March 9, 2023, a federal grand jury charged Dunnaway with sexual abuse. U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester announced the plea agreement in a statement.

The investigation into the crime was led by the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division. Assistant U.S. Attorney Tiffany Edgmon is prosecuting the case.
