HARRISBURG, PA – A former business executive is facing federal charges after allegedly attempting to shake down his old employer for a hefty payout. Bryan R. Chapman, 62, of Missouri, was indicted yesterday by a federal grand jury in the Middle District of Pennsylvania on charges of extortion, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.
The indictment details a brazen scheme hatched after Chapman’s termination from his position as Vice President at a nationwide company with operations in Pennsylvania.
