According to the indictment, Raudales worked with co-defendants Alex Yubini Canaca Calix, age 32, Luis Fernando Banega Moncada, age 21, Alejandro Torres Ochoa, age 38, and Juan Carlos Sosa Villanueva, age 34, to execute fentanyl deals. The deals involved substantial amounts of fentanyl, a dangerous Schedule II controlled substance.

The indictment charges the defendants with possessing with intent to distribute fentanyl. Raudales remains at large, while the other defendants have been detained pending trial. Calix, a Honduran national without authorization to be in the United States, has previously been deported.

The investigation into the fentanyl trafficking ring is being conducted by the Denver Field Office of the FBI, the Denver Field Office of the DEA, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations, and IRS Criminal Investigation. The prosecution is being handled by the Transnational Organized Crime and Money Laundering Section of the United States Attorney’s Office.

The case is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative aimed at repelling the invasion of illegal immigration, achieving the total elimination of cartels and transnational criminal organizations, and protecting communities from violent crime. The defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
