A wave of senseless destruction swept through the quiet streets of Pascagoula, leaving in its wake a trail of shattered dreams and broken glass. F.P. Curtis, a Metairie, Louisiana resident, had returned to the coastal city to begin remodeling work on a house he had purchased on Washington Avenue. But when he arrived, he was met with a scene from a nightmare. Vandals had descended upon the property, leaving their mark on every room. Windows were shattered, wiring was cut, walls and ceilings were bashed in, and a room’s furniture was left in shambles. The once-promising renovation project had been reduced to a pile of rubble, courtesy of the city’s vandals.
