A 43-year-old Fayetteville man has been sentenced to 8 years in federal prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking operation in Northwest Arkansas. Titus Parks, of Fayetteville, was sentenced to 96 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for one count of Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute.

Parks was identified by the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force as a distributor of methamphetamine in the area. In April 2018, investigators arranged and conducted controlled purchases of methamphetamine from Parks, which led to a search warrant being executed at his residence on April 12, 2018. During the search, investigators recovered a bag containing approximately 36 grams of methamphetamine.

Parks was indicted by a federal grand jury in April 2018 and entered a guilty plea in September 2018. The case was investigated by the Fourth Judicial District Drug Task Force, with Assistant United States Attorney Amy Driver prosecuting the case for the United States.
