FDIC Bankers Handed 7 Enforcement Orders in August

WASHINGTON – In a shocking turn of events, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has released a list of enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in August 2022. The list reveals a total of 7 orders, with no administrative hearings scheduled for October 2022.

The FDIC’s move comes as a response to growing concerns over bank mismanagement and potential financial crimes. According to sources, the orders issued in August 2022 consisted of one consent order, one order terminating consent order, two orders of prohibition from further participation, and three orders granting permission to file application and approving application for consent to participate in the conduct of the affairs of any insured depository institution.
