Rapid City Man Caught with Gun, Sentenced to Prison

The case was investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation and the Rapid City Police Department, with Assistant U.S. Attorney Ted L. McBride prosecuting the case. Grimm was immediately turned over to the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service after the sentencing.

The incident highlights the importance of stricter gun laws for convicted felons and the need for law enforcement agencies to work together to prevent such crimes. The U.S. Attorney’s office has pledged to continue its efforts in combating violent crime in South Dakota.
