A convicted felon from Fulton, Kentucky, has been sentenced to 110 months in prison for violating federal drug trafficking and gun laws, according to federal authorities.

White’s prior felony conviction was for drug trafficking, and he had previously been convicted of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine) and trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 yards of a school.
On March 25, 2013, White knowingly and intentionally possessed with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, and he also possessed a loaded Hi-Point, .380 caliber pistol, bearing serial number P8051850. He used the pistol to shoot at a Kentucky State Police Trooper.
White will serve the federal sentence after he completes a current state sentence. He faces no parole in the federal system.
