It was a chilly February morning in Toledo when five masked bandits pulled off a daring heist at the local post office. At 8:00 AM on February 17, 1921, the brazen thieves drove up to the post office in a stolen vehicle, brandishing revolvers and demanding that the clerks hand over the day’s mail. The unsuspecting postal workers were forced to comply, and the robbers made off with a whopping 11 sacks of registered mail.
