A disturbing case of violence has shaken the small town of Parmelee, South Dakota. Franklin Running Horse, a 48-year-old local man, has been charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury.
The indictment, handed down by a federal grand jury on July 15, 2014, alleges that Running Horse assaulted the victim with a dangerous weapon, specifically his shod feet, on or about April 10, 2014, in Todd County.
