George A. Frampton, a 63-year-old man from Brandon, Florida, has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison for receiving and possessing child pornography.
Frampton pleaded guilty on April 13, 2017, to receiving and possessing 383 videos of child pornography, some of which involved prepubescent children and sadistic conduct. He was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Charlene E. Honeywell to seven years in federal prison.
The case was investigated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Gregory T. Nolan.
Frampton was also ordered to pay $5,300 in special assessments and to serve 15 years on supervised release following his term of imprisonment.
This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who sexually exploit children, and to identify and rescue victims.
