Gunpoint Robbery Rocks Crownpoint Gas Station

A brazen gunpoint robbery at the Giants Gas Station and Convenience Store in Crownpoint, New Mexico, has landed a 25-year-old Navajo man behind bars. Trevor David Littleman, an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, is facing federal commercial robbery and firearms charges.

According to the criminal complaint, on September 8, 2017, Littleman robbed the gas station at gunpoint, making off with packs of cigarettes and cash from the cash registers. He also faces a mandatory minimum of ten years of imprisonment for discharging a firearm, which must be served consecutive to any sentence imposed on the other charge.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Elisa Dimas is prosecuting the case. Littleman’s defense team has yet to comment on the charges. The case is a stark reminder of the dangers of gunpoint robberies and the importance of community vigilance in preventing such crimes.
