Guns Stolen from Pawn Shop
A brazen crime has rocked the community of Saucier, Mississippi. Octavia Jermaine Winters, 32, of Gulfport, has pleaded guilty to theft of firearms from a federal firearms licensee. The case involved the theft of 52 firearms from Friendly Pawn and Auto in Saucier, Mississippi.
According to authorities, the theft of the firearms was a serious offense. The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department worked together to investigate the case.
Winters, a resident of Gulfport, will face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when she is sentenced on April 22, 2016.
