New Orleans Man Found Guilty of Felon in Possession of Firearms

Haven Patterson, a 42-year-old New Orleans resident, has been convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm. On July 8, 2025, Patterson pleaded guilty to the crime in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 922(g)(1). The offense carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, and three years of supervised release.
