Teodoro Rodas Dubon, Fentanyl Distribution, Oregon 2022

PORTLAND, Ore. – Two Honduran nationals, Teodoro Rodas Dubon, 32, and Erick Yojan Lopez Miralda, 38, have been extradited to the United States from Honduras to face federal charges for conspiring to distribute fentanyl in Oregon.

Rodas Dubon directed and controlled the distribution of bulk quantities of fentanyl since 2022, according to court documents. After law enforcement actions against his drug trafficking organization, he returned to Honduras but continued coordinating the distribution in Portland. He was indicted on February 22, 2024.

Lopez Miralda operated a separate fentanyl distribution cell in the Portland area in 2023. Following a significant seizure of fentanyl, he fled to Honduras and was later extradited as well. He was charged with conspiring to distribute fentanyl on April 3, 2024.

Both men were arrested by Honduran authorities in January 2025 and extradited to the United States on September 15, 2025. They appeared in federal court today, pleaded not guilty, and were ordered detained pending a jury trial scheduled for November 2025.

United States Attorney Scott E. Bradford emphasized that their extraditions demonstrate the U.S.’s commitment to holding those involved in fentanyl trafficking accountable. David F. Reames of the DEA Seattle Field Division echoed this sentiment, stating that the DEA will aggressively pursue such threats.

This investigation was conducted by the DEA with support from various local law enforcement agencies and is part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide initiative to combat drug cartels and transnational criminal organizations.
