In a stunning development, Inspector J.R. Harrison, the man who cleaned up the Cuban postal service from a web of deceit, has been summoned to Washington to tackle a new case of get-rich-quick schemes involving the post office. Harrison, a seasoned investigator with a keen eye for corruption, was called to the nation’s capital by J.L. Bristow, the fourth assistant postmaster general. This marks the second time Bristow has sought Harrison’s expertise, having first called upon him to expose the Neely-Rathbone-Reeves frauds in the Cuban postal service.
