Jacqueline Nicole Lee Warrick, Identity Theft, Florida 2014

A Florida woman has pleaded guilty to her involvement in a massive identity theft scheme that targeted AT&T customers. Jacqueline Nicole Lee Warrick, 26, of Miami, admitted to stealing personal identifying information from AT&T customer files and using the information to make unauthorized wire transfers and obtain credit or debit cards.

According to court documents, Warrick was employed by a co-conspirator who worked at a call center for AT&T. The co-conspirator would provide Warrick with the personal identifying information of AT&T customers, which Warrick would then use to make unauthorized purchases and obtain credit or debit cards.

Warrick’s co-conspirators included Tracy Delva, 27, of Deerfield Beach, who also pleaded guilty to identity theft and aggravated identity theft. The two defendants used the credit and debit cards to make purchases and obtain cash advances totaling over $28,000.

Other defendants in the case include Chouman Emily Syrilien, 25, of Lauderdale Lakes, who pleaded guilty to possession of unauthorized access devices and aggravated identity theft. Syrilien’s sentencing is scheduled for August 6, 2014.

Carlos Antonio Alexander, 24, of Orlando, pleaded guilty to using an unauthorized access device and aggravated identity theft. Alexander’s sentencing is scheduled for October 1, 2014.

Angel Arcos, 23, of Pompano Beach, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit bank fraud. Arcos’ sentencing is scheduled for September 3, 2014.

Warrick and Delva each face up to 10 years in prison for their roles in the identity theft scheme. Sentencing for both defendants is scheduled for October 15, 2014. The case is a reminder of the importance of protecting personal identifying information and being cautious when sharing sensitive personal data.
