James Edward Brasure, 42, of Rosebud, South Dakota, pleaded guilty to Simple Assault and was sentenced on September 16, 2016, by U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno.

The responding officer observed swelling on the victim’s forehead and blood on her lip.
