The VCI is a collaborative effort to combat violent crime in and around Paterson, with agencies including federal, state, county, and city agencies working together to prosecute violent offenders.

The government is represented by Assistant U.S. Attorney Francesca Liquori of the U.S. Attorney’s Office Organized Crime and Gangs Unit in Newark.

Clark’s guilty plea is a significant blow to the community, highlighting the ongoing struggle with gun violence in Paterson. The city has seen a rise in violent crimes in recent years, and this case serves as a reminder of the need for continued efforts to address the issue.

As the investigation continues, residents are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
