Kimberly Michelle Claridy Walker, Flakka Trafficking, Florida 2024

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The heads of a ruthless Jacksonville drug operation peddling the dangerous synthetic stimulant ‘flakka’ are facing a quarter-century behind bars. U.S. District Judge Timothy J. Corrigan slammed Kimberly Michelle Claridy Walker (46) and Neal Merrell Walker (51) with 25-year sentences for conspiracy to distribute narcotics and conspiracy to commit money laundering. The couple’s lavish lifestyle, funded by poison, is now forfeit – including over $167,000 in cash, a .38 caliber pistol, and a fleet of luxury vehicles: a 2015 BMW 5501, a 2015 Lexus IS 250, a 2013 Audi AS L Quattro, and a 2020 Ryker Rally Edition motorcycle. The feds also seized their Rolex watches, gold, diamond jewelry, and designer threads.

Court documents paint a chilling picture of the Walkers’ operation, which flooded Jacksonville streets with ‘flakka’ and other narcotics from at least July 2018 through April 2021. They ran a network of ‘trap’ houses, staffed around the clock with rotating sellers – typically three shifts per day – ensuring a constant flow of poison to addicts. The scale of their operation was staggering, moving kilogram quantities of drugs each week. The Walkers didn’t just deal, they laundered. Between April 2019 and January 2020, they funneled approximately $120,000 through a classic “structuring” scheme: breaking up cash deposits into amounts under $10,000 to evade federal reporting requirements. The dirty money was then converted into cashier’s checks used to purchase six Jacksonville properties, many through Duval County tax deed auctions.

The bust came on April 13, 2021, when law enforcement raided the Walkers’ residence. They found a treasure trove of illicit gains: over $148,000 in cash, roughly two kilograms of synthetic narcotics, drug packaging materials, digital scales, and – tellingly – a loaded .38 caliber pistol hidden under the mattress in their bedroom. The raid confirmed what investigators had long suspected: the Walkers weren’t just drug dealers, they were armed and dangerous, willing to protect their profits at any cost. This wasn’t a victimless crime; it fueled addiction, violence, and despair throughout the Jacksonville community.

The Walkers weren’t alone in their criminal enterprise. Ten other members of the organization have also been sentenced for their roles. Marcus Antonio Peterson (37), a supplier, received 7 years and 11 months. Sellers David Lee Geathers (26) got 6 years and 8 months, Mar’Quez Maurice Mickler (22) received 5 years and 6 months, Ramone Lazai Astin (37) 5 years, Eugene Antwonn Farmer (25) 4 years and 2 months, and Alfred Eugene Bell (38) 3 years and 4 months. Michael Shaquille Lee (25) also received 3 years and 4 months. Antwan Le’Queze Major (25) got 4 years’ probation, while baggers/transporters Porschee Laneal Walker (30) and Brandiesa Tylese Williams (26) both received 4 years’ probation.

Geathers and Williams weren’t just small-time players. They were ordered to forfeit over $18,000 and four firearms seized from their apartment. Bell was stripped of $5,654 seized during his arrest. “We share our partners’ unwavering commitment to help keep Florida’s communities safe,” stated ATF Tampa Field Division’s Acting Special Agent in Charge Richard Coes. “These individuals earned steep sentences for committing serious federal crimes.” The IRS-CI chipped in too, with Acting Special Agent in Charge Ronald A. Loecker emphasizing, “The role of IRS-CI in narcotics investigations is to follow the money to financially disrupt and dismantle drug trafficking organizations.”

This case was a collaborative effort led by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Internal Revenue Service – Criminal Investigation, and the Drug Enforcement Administration, with support from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. While the Walkers and their crew are headed to federal prison, the fight against drug trafficking in Jacksonville is far from over. This bust serves as a stark reminder that those who profit from the misery of others will face the full force of the law.
