Jeffery Daniel Gladney, Threatening a Federal Employee, Arizona 2020

A Willcox man has been sentenced to over 25 months in prison for threatening a Social Security Administration judge. Jeffery Daniel Gladney, 55, threatened to assault and kill the judge in a series of voicemails left on his attorney’s office in June 2020.

According to court records, Gladney demanded that his benefits be approved immediately and instructed his legal assistant to relay the threatening messages to the judge. The investigation was conducted by the Federal Protective Service of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
