Massachusetts Woman Pleads Guilty to Leaking Grand Jury Information

BOSTON – In a shocking turn of events, Jessica M. Leslie, a 34-year-old woman from Dracut, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty to disclosing sensitive information presented to a federal grand jury to unauthorized individuals.

According to court documents, Leslie leaked the names of various witnesses appearing before the grand jury, the substance of witness testimony, and other evidence presented to the grand jury between August 11, 2022, and March 4, 2024. This blatant disregard for the law has put the entire investigation at risk.

The charge of criminal contempt carries a sentence of any term of years in prison, five years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $250,000. Sentences are imposed by a federal district court judge based on the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and statutes that govern the determination of a sentence in a criminal case.

Leslie’s guilty plea came after she was charged on July 11, 2025, and is set to be sentenced on September 26, 2025. This case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of maintaining the integrity of grand jury proceedings.

United States Attorney Leah B. Foley and Ted E. Docks, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Boston made the announcement today. Assistant U.S. Attorney Anne Paruti, Chief of the Major Crimes Unit, is prosecuting the case.
