Mishawaka Man Sentenced to 100 Months in Prison for Methamphetamine Possession
A 44-year-old man from Mishawaka, Indiana, has been sentenced to 100 months in prison for his role in a methamphetamine distribution ring. Jessie Warren, 44, was found guilty of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, a crime that carries serious penalties.
According to court documents, Warren was arrested in December 2022 after police found over 220 grams of methamphetamine in his possession. He was driving alone in a car when authorities stopped him, and a search of the vehicle revealed a firearm, a digital scale, and $2,000 in cash.
The case against Warren was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration, with assistance from the Mishawaka Police Department and the Indiana State Police Laboratory. Assistant United States Attorneys Jerome McKeever and Joel Gabrielse prosecuted the case.
Warren’s sentencing is part of a larger effort by law enforcement to combat the growing problem of methamphetamine distribution in the region. The case is also part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), a program aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence through community-based initiatives.
Warren will serve 100 months in prison, followed by 4 years of supervised release. The sentence reflects the severity of the crime and the potential harm it could have caused to the community.
