Joel Alexander Fabre, Methamphetamine Possession, Louisiana 2021

NEW ORLEANS – A California man has been charged with a serious crime in Louisiana. Joel Alexander Fabre, age 33, has been accused of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to the indictment, between March 16, 2021 and March 20, 2021, Fabre shipped a pound of methamphetamine via USPS. He received $3000.00 for the methamphetamine via a MoneyGram, in violation of Title 21 United States Code, Section 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)A), possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine.

The charges against Fabre include possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, a serious federal crime. If convicted, he faces a maximum term of imprisonment of life, a fine of up to $10,000,000 and at least five years of supervised release after imprisonment, as well as a $100 special assessment.
