John Sanders, Heroin Trafficking, West Virginia 2015

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA – In a shocking turn of events, a Maryland man has been convicted of heroin trafficking in federal court. John Sanders, 25, of Williamsport, Maryland, was found guilty of selling heroin in June 2014 near Martinsburg, West Virginia.

The defendant, who is facing a lengthy prison sentence, sold heroin near Martinsburg in June 2014. His guilty plea has resulted in a 120-month prison sentence.

Sanders was charged in a one-count federal indictment in April 2015. Specifically, the indictment alleged that Sanders sold heroin in June 2014 in Berkeley County, West Virginia which led to the death and serious bodily injury of another individual.
