Dorian D. Stephens, a 29-year-old resident of Johnstown, Pa., has pleaded guilty to distributing cocaine in federal court.
According to a guilty plea entered before United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson, Stephens distributed less than 500 grams of cocaine on November 18, 2014.
The Laurel Highlands Resident Agency of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Cambria County Drug Task Force conducted the investigation that led to the prosecution of Stephens.
Assistant United States Attorney John J. Valkovci, Jr., is prosecuting this case on behalf of the government.
At his sentencing hearing on August 25, 2016, Stephens faces a possible 20 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine. The actual sentence imposed will be based on the seriousness of the offense and any prior criminal history of the defendant.
Stephens’ guilty plea is a significant blow to the Johnstown community, where the impact of cocaine distribution can be devastating.
