A 45-year-old Rapides Parish man has been charged with attempting to cause a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity, federal authorities announced on Friday.
Keith William Noce, of Alexandria, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Shreveport on a charge of use of a facility to attempt to cause a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity.
The indictment alleges that between April 29, 2025, and May 1, 2025, Noce used a facility and means of interstate commerce to knowingly attempt to persuade, induce, entice, and coerce a minor under the age of 18 years old to engage in sexual activity.
Noce was charged last week following a joint, undercover operation by the FBI, Alexandria Police Department and Louisiana State Police. A fourth subject was indicted in the Eastern District of Louisiana on child pornography charges.
If convicted, Noce faces a sentence of up to 10 years to life in prison, and a fine of up to $250,000.
The case was investigated by the FBI, Alexandria Police Department, and Louisiana State Police and is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Earl M. Campbell.
An indictment is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
