Kevin Eugene Dill, Child Pornography, Iowa 2021

A 14-year federal prison sentence has been handed down to a Webster City man for his role in distributing child pornography.

Kevin Eugene Dill, 56, received the prison term after an October 9, 2020, guilty plea to one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of receipt of child pornography.

According to court records, Dill admitted to knowingly receiving and possessing thousands of images and videos of child pornography between March 2012 and June 2020. He also distributed child pornography to an undercover FBI agent in September 2017.

Dill was arrested in June 2020, and upon questioning, he admitted to accessing child pornography for sexual gratification. Despite this, he continued to access the material even after his arrest.

On February 26, 2021, Dill was sentenced in Sioux City by United States District Court Chief Judge Leonard T. Strand to 169 months’ imprisonment. He was also ordered to make $60,500 in restitution and serve a 5-year term of supervised release after his prison term.

Dill is being held in the United States Marshal’s custody until he can be transported to a federal prison. This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative to combat child sexual exploitation and abuse.
