A 23-year-old man from Clayton, Oklahoma, has been sentenced to 57 months in prison for sexually abusing a minor under the age of 16.
Kevin Stuart Pollard III, 23, pleaded guilty to one count of Sexual Abuse of a Minor in Indian Country and two counts of Abusive Sexual Contact in Indian Country.
The crimes occurred in 2019 within the boundaries of the Choctaw Nation Reservation in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Pollard was sentenced to 57 months in prison for the sexual abuse charge, and 24 months in prison for each of the two abusive sexual contact charges.
The sentences were ordered to run concurrently.
Pollard pleaded guilty on August 10, 2022, and was sentenced by the Honorable Scott D. Palk, U.S. District Judge in the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
Pollard will remain in custody of the U.S. Marshal pending transportation to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve his sentence.
Special Assistant United States Attorney Genevieve Ozark represented the United States in the case.
