WASHINGTON – Glenn Dolford, 32, of the District of Columbia, is heading back to federal prison, this time for 42 months, after pleading guilty to a pair of violent robberies that occurred in June 2020. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro announced the sentencing today, adding to an already substantial sentence Dolford is serving for a separate, brutal crime.
Dolford admitted to two counts of interference with interstate commerce by threat or violence, stemming from the robberies of a CVS Pharmacy in Nottingham, Maryland, and a T-Mobile store in College Park, Maryland. Judge Amy Berman Jackson also ordered three years of supervised release upon completion of his 42-month term. The FBI’s Steven J. Jensen, Assistant Director in Charge of the Washington Field Office, joined in the announcement, highlighting the collaborative effort in bringing Dolford to justice.
This isn’t Dolford’s first brush with a lengthy prison sentence. In June 2023, he was sentenced to more than 22 years for second-degree murder while armed, aggravated assault while armed, and assault with a deadly weapon. The original conviction stemmed from a Super Bowl Sunday shooting in February 2020, where one man was killed and two others wounded. He was arrested just months later, in June 2020, but continued criminal activity while awaiting trial for the murder.
Court documents detail a particularly violent scene at the CVS Pharmacy on June 8, 2020. Dolford and three accomplices drove from DC to Nottingham. Inside, Dolford physically assaulted a store employee attempting to escape, throwing him to the floor, punching him in the head, and pinning him down with his foot. While Dolford subdued the employee, his co-conspirators demanded narcotics and forced another employee to empty the safe, making off with $1,000 worth of hydrocodone and personal belongings. The following day, the crew targeted a T-Mobile store in College Park, where Dolford forced employees to the back while an accomplice threatened lethal violence if demands weren’t met. They stole approximately $20,000 worth of phones.
Investigators linked Dolford to the crimes through a silver VW Jetta rented from Enterprise Rent-a-Car on May 28, 2020. He was indicted on Conspiracy and Hobbs Act robbery charges in June 2023. This sentencing adds to the growing list of convictions for Dolford’s associates. Floyd Neal, 32, of Washington, D.C., received over 157 months for a series of 2021 gunpoint pharmacy robberies in Maryland and Virginia. Ashawntea Henderson, 32, also of DC, was sentenced to 52 months for a Jersey Shore drug store robbery involving a high-speed chase that ended in a collision with a police cruiser.
The case was investigated by the FBI Washington Field Office’s Violent Crimes Task Force, alongside the Metropolitan Police Department and the Prince George’s County Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Cameron Tepfer, Kyle McWaters, Sarah Martin, and Josh Gold prosecuted the matter. Case number 23cr190. Dolford’s pattern of violent crime continues to rack up years in federal prison, demonstrating a clear disregard for the law and the safety of others.
