Kory Lee George, a 33-year-old man from Bristol, Vermont, has been sentenced to 89 months in prison for possessing a firearm after having previously been convicted of a felony. According to court records and proceedings, George possessed a stolen shotgun at his home in Monkton, Vermont, on or about August 2, 2019.

The shotgun was stolen from a camp in upstate New York around April of 2019, along with several other firearms. George had previously been convicted of felony offenses, and was prohibited under federal law from possessing any firearms.
