Gloversville Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Methamphetamine Trafficking
A Gloversville man was sentenced to 10 years in prison for his role in a methamphetamine trafficking operation. Lamont McWhite, 51, was sentenced to 120 months in prison for conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, cocaine base, and fentanyl.
According to court documents, McWhite distributed cocaine on four occasions between June and August 2022. On December 14, 2022, he possessed and intended to distribute approximately 292 grams of methamphetamine, 506 grams of cocaine, 49 grams of cocaine base, and 37 grams of fentanyl.
Senior United States District Judge Glenn T. Suddaby imposed a 5-year term of post-imprisonment supervised release in addition to the prison sentence.
The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) New York Field Division.
