Juniata County Man Charged with Drug Trafficking and Firearm Offenses

A 36-year-old man from Mifflintown, Pennsylvania, has been charged with distributing large quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as possessing firearms after being convicted of a felony.

Larry L. Grove, Jr., was indicted by a federal grand jury on June 18, 2025, on eight counts of drug trafficking and firearm offenses. The indictment alleges that Grove distributed cocaine and methamphetamine on separate occasions between December 2024 and May 2025. Additionally, it is alleged that on May 20, 2025, Grove possessed with the intent to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine and additional quantities of marijuana.

The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Pennsylvania State Police Troop G VICE Unit, and the Mifflin County Drug Task Force. Assistant U.S. Attorney Stephen Dukes is prosecuting the case.

The maximum penalty under federal law for the most serious offense alleged in the indictment is 40 years of imprisonment, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine.

Indictments are only allegations, and all persons charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in court.
