Loretta Jean Minor, a 44-year-old Moundsville woman, has been sentenced to 46 months in prison for possessing methamphetamine with intent to distribute, according to U.S. Attorney William Ihlenfeld.
The charge stems from an incident in January 2022 in Marshall County, West Virginia. Minor pleaded guilty to the crime in July 2022.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Clayton J. Reid prosecuted the case on behalf of the government. The Marshall County Drug Task Force, a HIDTA-funded initiative, investigated the case.
U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey presided over the sentencing hearing.
According to the indictment, Minor admitted to having methamphetamine in January 2022. The exact amount of methamphetamine seized is not specified in the press release.
