ABINGDON, VA – Lynn Edward Bowen, 46, of Duffield, Virginia, is headed to federal prison for nine years after admitting he illegally possessed a loaded revolver. The sentence, handed down yesterday, reflects Bowen’s extensive criminal history – a record riddled with fifteen prior felony convictions that explicitly barred him from owning a firearm.
