Raheem Nigge Taylor, Unlawful Possession of Firearms by a Prohibited Person, New Hampshire 2021

Manchester man Raheem Nigge Taylor, 28, is headed to federal prison for 36 months after being caught with two loaded firearms he’s legally barred from owning. The sentence, handed down in Concord, marks the end of a swift federal case built on damning social media evidence and a targeted search of Taylor’s home.

On April 2, 2021, federal investigators moved in after spotting photos on Taylor’s social media accounts showing him flaunting two firearms. A warrant led officers to his Manchester residence, where they recovered the exact weapons shown in the images—plus multiple rounds of live ammunition. Taylor, a convicted felon, admitted the guns were his, sealing his fate under strict federal gun laws.

Taylor previously pleaded guilty on July 27, 2021, to one count of unlawful possession of firearms by a prohibited person. His criminal history disqualified him from owning any firearms, yet he chose to brandish them publicly—a bold move that drew immediate law enforcement attention.

“To keep Manchester safe from violent crime, it is imperative that we keep guns out of the hands of criminals,” said Acting U.S. Attorney John J. Farley. “Despite being a convicted felon, Mr. Taylor had no respect for the law and continued to possess multiple firearms. Such unlawful conduct will not be tolerated.”

FBI Boston Division Special Agent in Charge Joseph R. Bonavolonta reinforced the message: “If you’re a convicted felon, like Raheem Nigge Taylor, who blatantly brandished two firearms, along with multiple rounds of ammo on social media, you should know you’re not going to get away with it.”

The case was jointly investigated by the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and Manchester Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles Rombeau prosecuted. It falls under Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), the DOJ’s nationwide initiative to dismantle illegal gun use through coordinated federal, state, and local enforcement.
