East Cleveland Man Charged with Robbing Two Banks
Mark A. Lloyd, 31, has been indicted for robbing two banks on West 25th Street in Cleveland, Ohio. According to Acting U.S. Attorney David A. Sierleja and FBI Special Agent in Charge Stephen D. Anthony, Lloyd robbed the Ohio Savings Bank on January 30th of $918.
Two weeks later, on February 13th, Lloyd robbed the PNC bank of $4,238. Lloyd was arrested on February 17th at Cleveland City Hall after a police officer working security there recognized him, particularly a tattoo of a gun underneath his right eye, according to court documents.
Lloyd’s arrest was the result of an investigation by the FBI and the Cleveland Division of Police. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Elliot D. Morrison and Megan Miller.
