ST. LOUIS – U.S. District Judge Henry E. Autrey handed down a 15-year sentence to Jerry Massey, 33, for orchestrating the sale of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine in St. Louis County.
Massey pleaded guilty in April to a litany of charges including conspiracy to distribute, distribution of meth and fentanyl, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, and more. The DEA had been investigating him since January 2022.
The DEA made several drug buys arranged by Massey between January and March of this year, culminating in a search warrant at his home where they found cash and 29 fentanyl-laden pills.
Other conspirators included Darrion Dardon, Darius Smith, Ronald Finney, and Michael Davis. Each faced their own sentences for varying roles in the drug ring, with Finney and Davis still awaiting judgment.
The DEA and St. Louis County Police Department collaborated to crack down on this dangerous operation. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Erin Granger led the prosecution.
