In a shocking turn of events, Matthew Kyle Pinson, a 37-year-old resident of Wewoka, Oklahoma, was sentenced to 108 months in prison for his involvement in a series of violent crimes. The sentencing took place on July 25, 2023 in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Pinson was convicted of one count of Involuntary Manslaughter, one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and one count of Assault resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. The Honorable Ronald A. White, Chief U.S. District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, presided over the hearings. Pinson will remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending transportation to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence of incarceration.
