Meridian Dealer Nabbed for Major Drug Ring

Meridian, MS – Federal agents have scored a major victory in their battle against drug trafficking with the conviction of Jabreon Deshon Mosley, 34, who was found guilty after a grueling four-day trial. According to court documents, Mosley was hit with multiple counts including Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine, Fentanyl, and Cocaine.

The evidence presented at trial revealed that in January of 2024, law enforcement raided Mosley’s residence, where they seized over 87 pounds of meth, 45 pounds of fentanyl, and 35 pounds of cocaine. They also recovered two pill press machines used to manufacture counterfeit pharmaceuticals, 13 firearms, and a suppressor.

Mosley had been using the illegal automatic pill press machine since October of 2023 to produce thousands of counterfeit pills laced with methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine, which were then distributed on the streets of Meridian and parts of Alabama.

“I am proud of the collaborative efforts between my office, the DEA, and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics to take this massive amount of drugs off our streets,” stated Acting United States Attorney Patrick A. Lemon.

The DEA’s Assistant Special Agent in Charge Anessa Daniels-McCaw echoed the sentiment, saying, “The seizure is a significant blow to the criminal organizations that endanger our streets.”

Mississippi Department of Public Safety Commissioner Sean Tindell praised the agencies involved for their relentless pursuit of justice. “We will continue to work together to dismantle the criminal networks pushing poison into our neighborhoods,” he said.

This investigation was part of Operation Take Back America, a nationwide federal initiative aimed at eliminating cartels and transnational criminal organizations. The Mississippi Homeland Security Task Force played a crucial role in this successful operation.
