Davon Jamir Linder, a 24-year-old Beckley man, has been caught in a major federal drug sting and is now facing 20 years behind bars for his role in distributing methamphetamine in southern West Virginia.

According to court documents and statements made in court, on February 27, 2023, Linder sold a controlled substance containing methamphetamine to a confidential informant in Beckley. The defendant Davon Jamir Linder, 24, of Beckley, pleaded guilty to the crime in a hearing presided over by United States Magistrate Judge Omar J. Aboulhosn.

Linder is scheduled to be sentenced on September 13, 2024, and if convicted, faces a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, at least three years of supervised release, and a $1 million fine.
