Konstanz, who was indicted by a federal grand jury on January 8, 2013, for failing to pay the past due amount, was ordered by the First Judicial Circuit Court, Bon Homme County, South Dakota, to pay $459.07 per month for her minor child, commencing April 1, 2001.

Konstanz was sentenced on July 15, 2013, by U.S. District Court Judge Karen E. Schreier to five years of probation, a $100.00 special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund, and child support restitution in the amount of $39,033.55.
