Nacogdoches Man Gets Life for Double Homicide
A Nacogdoches, Texas, man has pleaded guilty to charges related to a double homicide that took place in 2007. Charles Cameron Frazier, 29, also known as ‘Mojo,’ pleaded guilty to committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering activity before U.S. District Judge Marcia Crone in federal court in Beaumont, Texas.
Frazier admitted to participating in the murders of David Mitchamore and Christy Rochelle Brown, who were found dead in Nacogdoches County on August 10, 2007. The victims were members of the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas (ABT), a powerful race-based organization that operates in Texas and the United States.
According to court documents, Frazier’s actions were a result of a ‘direct order’ from higher-ranking members of the ABT, who enforced their rules and promoted discipline through murder and other violent crimes. Mitchamore was allegedly owed money by the organization, and his failure to repay the debt led to his murder.
The investigation into the double homicide involved multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, and the Nacogdoches Sheriff’s Department. The case was prosecuted by the Office of the U.S. Attorney in Lufkin, Texas, and the Criminal Division’s Gang Unit.
Frazier faces life in prison at sentencing, which has not been set. His guilty plea is a significant blow to the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas, a notorious organization that has been linked to numerous violent crimes in Texas and across the country.
The case highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement to disrupt and dismantle white supremacist gangs that operate in the United States. The Aryan Brotherhood of Texas has been a target of federal and state investigations in recent years, and this guilty plea is a major victory for those working to bring the organization to justice.
