Columbus Woman Charged with Kidnapping Infant Twins

Nalah T. Jackson, 24, of Columbus, Ohio, has been indicted on two counts of kidnapping a minor, a federal crime punishable by at least 20 years in prison and up to life in prison.

The indictment alleges that between December 19, 2022, and December 22, 2022, Jackson kidnapped two minor children in Columbus and traveled interstate with one of them.

According to U.S. Attorney Kenneth L. Parker, Jackson is currently in custody in Indiana and will be transported to the Southern District of Ohio to face her federal charges in U.S. District Court in Columbus. The federal charges will supersede her current state charge of kidnapping.

Parker acknowledged the assistance of numerous law enforcement agencies, including the FBI field offices in Columbus, Dayton, and Indianapolis, as well as the Columbus, Dayton, Huber Heights, Riverside, Vandalia, Dayton International Airport, and Indianapolis police departments.

Assistant United States Attorneys Emily K. Czerniejewski and Noah R. Litton are representing the United States in this case.
