Ohio Attorney General’s Office has announced that nine Medicaid providers are facing fraud charges.
The charges include theft, money laundering, and Medicaid fraud, with the defendants accused of submitting false claims to the Ohio Medicaid program.
The defendants are:
- James Johnson, owner of Johnson Medical Services, located in Columbus, Ohio.
- Emily Davis, owner of Davis Home Health Care, located in Cleveland, Ohio.
- Michael Brown, owner of Brown Medical Services, located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- David Lee, owner of Lee Home Health Care, located in Toledo, Ohio.
- Jessica Martin, owner of Martin Medical Services, located in Akron, Ohio.
- Robert White, owner of White Home Health Care, located in Dayton, Ohio.
- Kevin Hall, owner of Hall Medical Services, located in Canton, Ohio.
- Lauren Taylor, owner of Taylor Home Health Care, located in Lorain, Ohio.
- Christopher Williams, owner of Williams Medical Services, located in Youngstown, Ohio.
The charges were filed on March 10, 2023 in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.
