Buffalo resident Nourooz Ali, 31, was sentenced to 132 months in prison for his role in the 10th Street Gang.
On March 15, 2024According to Assistant U.S. Attorney Joseph M. Tripi, Ali was a key member of the gang, participating in violent activities, possessing firearms, and selling various controlled substances on the West Side of Buffalo.
The sentencing marks the culmination of an investigation by the FBI, New York State Police, Buffalo Police Department, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. A total of 44 10th Street Gang members and associates have been charged and convicted in this case.
Nourooz Ali’s 132-month sentence is a significant blow to the 10th Street Gang, which has plagued the Buffalo community for years.
The case serves as a reminder of the importance of law enforcement’s efforts to dismantle organized crime groups and bring those responsible to justice.
